DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced is now available to order

DJI recently launched its latest enterprise-level drone, the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced, with 32x zoom, a new RTK module, 1/2″ CMOS sensor, and a whole lot more smarts expected from a DJI drone. After a little bit of a wait, the drone is now ready to go and can be ordered from Sphere Drones today!

If you are interested in finding out more about the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced, feel free to head over to this link and fill out the form. Our sales staff will be in touch with you shortly to run through any questions you may have. If you would like to read more about the drone, continue below.

32x Zoom

The Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced comes with a brand new zoom feature, allowing up to 32x digital zoom and 4x optical zoom when recording in FHD. The thermal camera allows up to 16x zoom when recording at a resolution of 640×512.

RTK Module

RTK or real-time kinematic is an important feature in the commercial and enterprise drone world. RTK allows for improved precision and location data while flying. The M2EA allows for up to 240 waypoints to conduct automated and detailed inspection missions in complex environments.

1/2″ Sensor

The visual camera on the M2EA has been given an upgrade with a new 1/2″ CMOS sensor compared to the smaller 1/2.3″ sensor on the Mavic 2 Enterprise Zoom and Dual. The new sensor also means 48 MP photos can be taken with a higher amount of detail.

Radiometric Thermal Camera

The M2EA comes with a brand new radiometric 640 x 512 thermal sensor that captures images using R-JPEG image files. The radiometric sensor can measure a single pixel’s temperature in the frame, compared to the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual, which can only display the sensor’s temperature range.

OcuSync 2.0

OcuSync 2.0 is DJI’s proprietary transmission technology that allows the M2EA to have a maximum transmission range of 10 kilometers. This also means the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced can be used with DJI’s Smart Controller, removing the need for a mobile device to fly.

Obstacle Avoidance

The M2EA has an array of 12 cameras and sensors pointing out in every direction to make sure it knows its surroundings and the obstacles it could come in contact with. This ensures the M2EA stays in the air and allows the operator to have greater peace of mind when completing a mission.

AirSense

A standard in the aviation industry is ADS-B or Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast. DJI has built this into its latest enterprise and consumer drones in the form of AirSense. This allows drone pilots to track nearby crewed aircraft to ensure they stay out of the way. The AirSense system only receives the data, rather than sending it out as well.

Enterprise Accessories

The M2EA features a unique expansion port that allows it to use external modules, such as the above-mentioned RTK module and a spotlight, speaker, or beacon to allow you to get more out of the drone.
